Yin & Sound Healing Vibration, inspired by the Taoist Five Elements theory. Wood, fire, earth, metal, and water elementals—each element corresponds to a specific organ, bodily tissue, emotion, and season. These five elements form and make up everything in the universe. We will delve into the depth of each element, targeting specific meridians with yin postures associated with promoting balance and harmony within the body. Himalayan singing bowls will be placed on different areas of the body; the sound vibration will target muscle regeneration, facilitating deep relaxation using healing frequencies to harmonize organs and muscle tissue, allowing Qi to flow freely through the body. This workshop will foster mental clarity, emotional balance, and harmonize health in the body. Join these enriching workshops as we align our practice with the natural rhythms of the seasons and elements, enhancing our well-being through targeted yin postures and sound healing vibrations.

In this workshop we will work on the wood element corresponding to the spring season, a time of awakening, new beginnings and the virtue of courage through change . Through gentle yin postures, we'll focus on nurturing the kidneys, the source of emotional balance and the body's detoxification system.

In this 6 week series, you will learn the foundational moves of raqs sharki (commonly known as belly dance), receive historical insights, and gain a deeper connection to your femininity. Whether you’re an experienced dancer or have two left feet, you will improve body awareness, gain confidence, and leave with grace. Signing up for the whole series is recommended but drop-ins are welcome. All you need is comfortable clothes you can move freely in, socks or dance shoes, and a scarf with fringe. Lets shimmy!
