Restorative yoga and meditation are the gentlest of the practice. Each is a road map to our breath. These practices were revolutionary for me and gave me the courage to change how I was living my life. Learning how to slow down was when I struck gold. We've got multitasking and list-checking down, but are missing the mark and overlooking the power of stillness and rest. In Restorative yoga, each pose of the body is strategically propped with bolsters and relaxed under soft blankets. Learning how to support ourselves with softness could be our greatest power move. Rest and stillness open the doors wide for our breath to fully show up.
